We launched our layer on Google Earth yesterday and did the annnoucement using You Tube. Very 21st century of us. Anyway, take a look at the 3 minute video and download Google Earth if you have time.
Me, Donkey, Modean and Wacky Dave played The Woodlands in Baltimore today and I managed an 80. I had an opportunity for 79 and messed up an easy pitch. Great day, 75 and sunny. Donkey should give the game up.
Dylan is playing Mario Kart on the DS while Sam is getting his hair cut. The video game keeps them occupied and out from under the feet of Patrick as he cuts. It is a video game but its non-violent and actually helps them with motor skill development. I think we have decided that we are not going to allow shooting games while they live in the house. This is going to be tough as I'm sure other parents will not follow that theory so they will see them elsewhere.
On my way home and had to stop and take a quick picture of times square from 50th. I can't wait to get back here to take the boys to the Lion King or Mary Poppins. They really like taxi car city and all the lights. I like it too but have had enough for now. I'm having a quick beer at an irish pub on 8th and then off to bed. Early flight home tomorrow.

Having lunch in the grand dining room at the Harvard Club in Manhatten. The meetings are going well and having a good time connecting with all my council buddies.
Got to the hudson hotel at 7:30 and they acually had a room ready. I'm just doing some e-mail and heading over to the Harvard Club for breakfast in a few.
This is a cool video that does a real good job explaining what people call web 2.0. It's been out there a while but I ran accross it again and thought I would share. Worth the 4 and a half minutes it runs.
Their are only 4 Perkins Restaurants in Virginia and one of them is in Fredericksburg. It is conveniatly on the way to the Chancellorsville battlefield where we are hiking this morning. Minnesota has hundreds of Perkins and I miss them at times.
The lobby of AIA has a new exhibit. This time its the America's Favorite Architecture exhibit. You can see these buildings online at www.favoritearchitecture.org But these big prints of the buildings are much cooler. If you didn't already know, next week is Architecture Week. Good times.

This would be a good place to take the kids. I'm looking out onto to the croquet court and thinking the boys would do some damage with the malets.
To speak at a conference on continuing education for Architects. It will be good to get out and start selling our new online product that officially has a name now. We are going with "Soloso" Its a made up word like google and hopefully will be as successful. I haven't been to Tucson since the late 80's so I'm looking forward to seeing how its grown. I'm staying a swanky place in the mountains to the north of town so I will probably have some good photo opportunities. I hate leaving the boys but grandma is coming to stay with them and nicole so they will forget I'm gone with all the excitement.
Got the newly released Apple TV and it rules. It has such a better interface than the xbox media center combo. Good stuff.
It been warm the last couple and the cherry blossoms are poping out. I went out last night for Gina's birthday and then met JimmyT after a haircut. DC really starts to come alive in the spring. The streets take on a whole new form and the whole energy changes. I start to miss winter when it gets warm like this but will soon forget about it until its dreadful hot in July.
We drove down the potomac about 20 miles this morning and ended up at Leesylvania state park and hiked a little over 2 miles. Of course my D70 crapped out when we got their and I was only able to take a handful of pictures. I guess I will have to take it into the repair shop. I'm sure that will be cheap.
It was 75 and sunny the past couple days, now its 35 and raining hard. They started laying some drainage pipes in the courtyard this week. Looks like they should have started sooner because now its a muddy mess.
So I picked up the stomach bug that gil, linda, dylan and sam had last week. I spent most of the day either sleeping or working in bed today and this was my view. Nicole has the bug now, I'm feeling better.
