Hospitals

Hospitals

I really don't like the cafeterias because they remind me of many stressful meals when the boys were in the nicu and when my brother was in a coma. We started our day at the hospital with some breakfast in the fairfax inova hospital before sam got his bone scan to help us figure out this mysterious leg pain. He got a nuclear isotope injection, which he said, "this isn't good" and they scanned him for a while then we had to leave for two hours and we are back now for the bigger scan. I think we will all be happy to get out of here.

Hospitals can be pretty scary - especially for a little guy like Sam. Staying brave isn't so easy even for the middle-aged, is it? I hope Sam's leg is back to normal soon and this all fades to a blurry memory for him.

Keep us posted. We are thinking about each of you. We go to church alot these days, so our prayers may hold more weight these days.
