We got up fairly early this morning and headed out to Theodore Roosevelt Island. It's right at the base of Roslyn and accross the Potomac from Georgetown and the Kennedy Center. Nicole and I had never been on the island in the many years we have lived here and figured it would be a good place for a hike. It was coolish day and perfect for running around in the woods. The boys got a little worn out after walking and running about two mile but it didn't wipe them out completely.
