Emily, Cassie and Finn joined us for a fun celebration of Nicole’s 60th trip around the sun. Dinner on her actual birthday on the 14th and a rather tequila soaked version a couple days later.

Stop in Hartford
Drove Dylan and his stuff down from Maine in two cars with a stop in Hartford to sleep and have dinner with Kate and Emmy. Friends from the days when they lived down the street. Fun to catch up.

Last Show
Dylan had his last WMEB radio show last week. He had two great years on the air and really matured as a communicator during that time. I think it was tough to say goodbye to it. Great photo from is friend Emily.

Mentor
Sam’s teacher mentor from Ankeny Middle School showed up for the Hammer. It was great meeting him. Sam got lucky getting this guy.

The Relays
Catching up from a busy few weeks. Drake Relays were fun again and Sam kept busy as he interned with the relays operations staff and threw for the Ocean State Hammerheads. He needed to redshirt this spring but will be back throwing for Drake next year.
