Easter Tree
Great spring day for a walk. This week marks a year of walking the many different routes around our house. I don't think I ventured more than a mile from home on rare walks pre pandemic. I've probably averaged two or three walks a week, walking 3-6 miles per walk since last March. I've seen a whole year of decoration changes up close during this time. It's a benefit of working from home and limiting travel. It's a nice opportunity to catch up with Nicole and the boys or just listening to music by myself. I think I will keep these walks as we move to a more pre-pandemic lifestyle.
Pandemic Homecoming King
Sam became the much delayed homecoming royalty during yesterday's "official" homecoming game. No line up or halftime parades and only a hundred kids but he did win the vote. I think he would have preferred a touchdown in a disappointing loss to Marshall.

Old Glory Form
Dylan working out with his academy team is a great way to start each week. Hopefully his club team will publish a schedule soon so he can get some games in as well. He should have some great rugby this spring and summer between to two squads if we can get that vaccine in as many arms as possible.

Tough Game
Sam did have a very nice catch for a 50 yard gain and another catch but the Eagles were overpowered by the Wolves. It was more about Eagle mistakes but Justice played well. 3 more left for this abbreviated, spring season then on to college ball.

Nicole is calling the plays
Nicole and I went to football practice for a while today to get some pictures of seniors and coaches for the senior program on senior night. Game against Justice tomorrow. Sam is back from his ankle injury and ready to go.

Seniors
This group was undefeated as freshman but have struggled of late. I'm sure they will look back fondly in the years to come.

Twenty Years
Celebrated 20 years of marriage yesterday. I think we were snowmobiling in Tahoe on this day in 2001. It has all flown by so quickly. Here's to 20 more.
